One of the rarities of Lower Silesia is the Grodno Castle in Zagórze Śląskie, in the Walim commune – a pearl among the medieval fortresses. It was built on the top of the Choina Hill, and it dominates over the picturesque Valley of Bystrzyca Świdnicka. According to the legend, in the year 800, an English knight established a four-walled watchtower on this hill. A burg city was created together with various legends, which today introduce the visitors into the magic world of the fortress.
